Raised in Uttarakhand, Rakesh spent years exploring hidden valleys, temple trails, and Himalayan routes across the region.

In 2005, he founded SnazzyTrips to help travelers experience the real Uttarakhand through authentic journeys and local expertise.

Govind has been with SnazzyTrips since 1998, and there is arguably no one in Uttarakhand who knows the roads, hotels, and mountain conditions better. He can predict landslide risks from cloud formations and reroute a 30-person group across three districts without breaking a sweat.

During the 2013 Kedarnath floods, Deepak personally coordinated the evacuation of 200+ stranded travellers — working for 72 hours straight. He is the reason our guests trust us with their lives.
